Thomas Heger studied at the Stuttgart State Academy of Art under Prof. Grau and Prof. Haegele. He got art prices and sholarships. From 2006 until 2012 he also teached as a professor at the Highschool of Art in Halle, Burg Giebichenstein.
His works are shown in many exibitions in Germany and Europe. (e.g. Haus der Kunst Munich, Kunsthalle Mannheim, Barchessa di Villa Merosini, Venice Italy, Durban Art Gallery South Africa, Art Gallery Köflach Austria, Kunsthaus Meran Italy,...) His works are in many privat collections and also in Art Museums. (e.g. Staatsgalerie Stuttgart, Museum Ritter Waldenbuch, Artmuseum Heidenheim, Collection Alison & Peter W. Klein, Collection Tilp, Edwin Scharff Museum Neu-Ulm, Deutsche Bank Art Collection Frankfurt).
