Thomas Heger studied at the Stuttgart State Academy of Art under Prof. Grau and Prof. Haegele. He got art prizes and scholarships. From 2006 until 2012 he also taught as a professor at the High School of Art in Halle, Burg Giebichenstein.
His works are shown in many exhibitions in Germany and Europe. (e.g. Haus der Kunst Munich, Kunsthalle Mannheim, Barchessa di Villa Merosini, Venice Italy, Durban Art Gallery South Africa, Art Gallery Köflach Austria, Kunsthaus Meran Italy,...) His works are in many private collections and also in Art Museums. (e.g. Staatsgalerie Stuttgart, Museum Ritter Waldenbuch, Artmuseum Heidenheim, Collection Alison & Peter W. Klein, Collection Tilp, Edwin Scharff Museum Neu-Ulm, Deutsche Bank Art Collection Frankfurt).
