Sangbin Im
Sangbin Im’s (1976, Seoul/South Korea) work is characterized by the combination of two media; photography and painting in order to achieve hyper- realistic visions. His artistic process seemingly related to that of the photo- collage technique, consists of photographs taken in different days and time and then combined in such a way to achieve new, vibrant images. The artist has participated in many exhibitions around the world while he has an international reputation. He lives and works between Seoul and New York and he is a professor at Sungshin Women’s University.
